KitchenKitchenWhen you open the door from the grass drive, you enter the large common space that contains the kitchen, living room, dining room. Here you can see the door in from the driveway to the left and the kitchen. The entire cottage has been recently renovated and the kitchen is comfortable and a pleasure to cook in. Living RoomLiving RoomThe large living area from another angle. The hand-built fireplace is the unquestioned heart of the cottage. DiningDiningTurn another 90 degrees, to the dining area. This newly built table comfortably seats eight. From the picture window on the right, you can see the same view that first appears on this site. View from the Living RoomView from the Living RoomThe living area opens onto the deck through this eight foot glass sliding door. Outside and to the right: a footpath to the beach, only yards away. To the left: a deck with a footprint the size of the cottage and sun all day.
HallHallBack inside, the hall leads from the common area to the bedrooms. There are two rooms to the right -- one with a full bed, the other with bunk-beds -- both with new, comfortable mattresses. There's a bathroom to the left and that's the master bedroom at the end. The blue wall to the left is a nook of bookshelves behind the kitchen. Master BedroomMaster BedroomThe master bedroom. That's an excellent mattress tucked in there and through those windows you can hear the waves washing over the beach as you fall asleep. But the real beauty of this room is waking up. Another sliding door leads onto the deck and the view runs all the way to the water. You can also see the picnic table on the deck, which is perfect for sunny breakfasts. DeckDeckA part of the large deck that fronts the cottage and looks out to the ocean, that same view that greeted you on this site. The railing that runs around the deck doubles as a bench and there's also a round picnic table. At the top of this picture are the stairs that lead to the footpath down to the beach.
